Brian Hamm

Welcome! I have created this portfolio of tangible examples to serve as evidence of innovative, student-centered, and inspirational leadership. None of these examples are in any way mine alone, nor do I claim sole responsibility. All of these projects are collaborative efforts of bringing community together through design and actualizing educational initiatives and practices in an eclectic array of facets.

To borrow from Simon Sinek, people connect with why you do things more than what you do, and I know that developing a culture and community connected on a visceral level to purpose, guides actions towards meaning, excitement, and excellence beyond the bell. I also know that we are only as strong as our systems, and that the art of being an effective visionary leader is balancing the inspirational and relational aspects of the role with the strategic and structural layers, and doing so in an agile way that engages, empowers, and provides innovative, clear direction within a dynamic body of stakeholders.
